To support the aquatic industry, Life Saving Victoria (LSV) will launch a new and improved aquatic industry portal in the first week of August 2022.
Aquatic industry personnel will receive free or discounted access to the new portal, which expands on LSV’s existing training platform to provide training, professional development, and access to essential tools and resources.
LSV’s general manager public training and pool safety Andy Dennis said the new portal is a critical stage of industry recovery following COVID-19 lockdowns.
“The provision of engaging and relevant professional development in a simple and flexible manner will help individuals and facilities upskill and retain their workforce into the future,” Mr Dennis said.
“The new portal provides a central place to access all LSV professional development activities, as well as recordings, presentations, and support materials associated with previously completed professional development events.
“In addition, the portal provides free access to a range of almost 200 industry-specific resources including key government and industry reports and strategic plans, aquatic industry information, pool supervision guidance, swimming and water safety resources, water quality advice, occupational health and safety information and inland waterways safety support resources.”
