BLUE CONNECTIONS NEXT SESSION

Shane Hryhorec grew up in South Australia participating in many sports including football, swimming and triathlons. Growing up on the coast, he was also a member of the Surf Life Saving club where he was a patrolling member as a young adult.

Living in Adelaide and Melbourne, Shane setup and ran several companies setting him up with the experience for a long and fruitful career in running businesses.

In 2007, Shane broke his neck and drowned in a swimming pool accident. He spent five days in a coma, his life as he knew it changed forever. Shane discovered he was now a C5 incomplete quadriplegic. He also had a hypoxic acquired brain injury (ABI) and would be dependent on his wheelchair.

Shane chose not to be defeated by his disability.

Please join us for our final session for 2020, as we hear Shane’s incredible story, share in his wicked sense of humour and think about things a little differently as we look to a new year.
