Does your School need funding support for your Swimming & Water Safety programs with LSV?
Life Saving Victoria’s Education team strive to deliver meaningful and relevant water safety programs to Victorian students at subsidised / no cost. We endeavour, with the support of funding providers to offer these programs at no cost to schools and groups in low socio-economic and disadvantaged areas.
In 2018/2019 we were able to deliver our education programs at no cost to over 4,000 participants. To have organisations place the well-being of Victorian students as a priority, is something Life Saving Victoria greatly appreciates. Life Saving Victoria would like to acknowledge the below funding bodies, some of which have supported water safety opportunities over many years:
Sink or Swim (SorS) Program
Mount Alexander Shire
City of Manningham
Darebin City Council
City of Greater Bendigo
Open Water Learning Experience (OWLE) Program
HV McKay Charitable Trust (4 Years)
Golden Plains Shire (2 Years)
Maroondah City Council
The Andrews Foundation (4 Years)
Wodonga Shire (2 Years)
City of Greater Bendigo (2 Years)
As an endorsed provider of Sporting Schools programs, Life Saving Victoria have been able to provide many schools with a fully funded Open Water Learning Experience. Sporting Schools grants can be applied to Full Day Open Water Learning Programs.
If cost is a significant barrier to your participation in our programs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with LSV’s Community Education Projects Coordinator, Jodie Walker on 9676 6940 or Jodie.firstname.lastname@example.org.
