Community Surf Life Saving Certificate  

LSV’s Community Surf Life Saving Certificate is the ideal qualification for any teacher who is responsible for the supervision of students in an open water aquatic environment. Developed from the Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) Bronze Medallion this active and engaging two-day course is not only great for your professional development but is an invaluable life skill which could come in handy when you least expect it.    

Approved by the Department of Education and Training, this course will equip candidates withthe skills to supervise structured recreational activities in and around open water environments. The course focus includes student safety, surf awareness, rescue techniques, carries/supports and CPR.  

 

Inland Waterways Life Saving Certificate  

Are you looking for further opportunities to add to your skill set and you currently supervise students in an inland waterway location? Enrol now in one of Life Saving Victoria’s Inland Waterways Life Saving Certificate courses. In response to the high level of drowning incidents at this type of environment, this course was developed in partnership with RLSSA as a component of the National Respect the River campaign. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Provide First Aid: Education and Care Setting 

Did you know that LSV offer HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting? This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The course is nationally recognised and ACECQA Approved https://www.acecqa.gov.au/any-australian-registered-training-organisation  

LSV offer this course in a blended format to enable flexibility in a self-paced environment. This allows trainers to focus on practical skills in the classroom and ensure learners leave with the relevant skills and knowledge to act in the event of an emergency.
