The LSV Service Members program was introduced to support individuals and organisations in providing non-accredited training to Victorian communities. The intention was (and still is) to support the teaching of vital first aid and water safety skills to contribute to the mission of ‘preventing aquatic related death and injury in all Victorian Communities’.

The program is ideal for aquatic facilities, swim clubs, holiday activities and schools to provide a practical, affordable and effective way to teach these vital life skills. The program is progressive, allowing participants of all ages and abilities to learn and continue to develop their skills as they work through the different awards levels.
The Service Member resources are developed by LSV and provided to Service Members upon application, making it easy to focus on the delivery and assessment of the training. Upon successful completion of an award, Service Members can order certificates and medals for participants directly from LSV.
