It’s been a lucky month for Victorians involved in lifesaving with SLSA signing a sponsorship deal with Holden, bringing savings to all members, Lorne SLSC becoming the 200th clubhouse in Australia to be re-painted, thanks to the generosity of Dulux, and the winner of the Surf Life Saving Foundation surf lottery hailing from Victoria.
Everyone involved in surf life saving is a winner this month with SLSA signing a sponsorship deal with Holden. To celebrate the new three-year partnership, Holden is offering all members of SLSA exclusive discounts, such as $2,000 off the new Holden Equinox. Just print out your member certificate on the members portal, head into your local dealer, choose your model and away you go! Terms and Conditions Apply.
The members of Lorne SLSC were also counting their lucky stars this month when their clubhouse was designated as the 200th to be painted by Dulux. This meant a very special visit from the Dulux dog, much to the delight of all the Nippers on the beach that morning. It also meant a live weather cross with the Today Show, as well as a freshly painted clubhouse.
One lucky lifesaver in the Geelong region (who doesn’t want to be named, but who said she has told everyone in Geelong the news anyway), won lottery #185, a beautiful home in Queensland to the value of just over $1.2M, as well as an additional $30,000 in gold bullion.
It came a week after her home was burgled and while she was on the phone being given the good news, her husband walked in, overhead the news and proceeded to yell out that he was now “very happily married!”.
The winner said the good news would “certainly change our lives.”
Lottery #186 is now open with the chance to win a home in New South Wales’ Tweed Coast – could you be the next Victorian winner?
