Become an Education Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching water safety? Are you looking for some education-related casual work over the upcoming summer? Apply now to become a Life Saving Victoria (LSV) Education Instructor!

LSV Open Water Learning Experience (OWLE) and Sink or Swim (SorS) Instructors have the opportunity to deliver vital water safety programs to students across Victoria. Program delivery locations vary from beaches, lakes, rivers, pools and classrooms from Geelong all the way out to Mornington, with the opportunity to also take part in week long tours throughout regional Victoria.

General Manager of Education Services, Kate Simpsons says, “Instructors come from a diverse range of backgrounds providing an array of experience and knowledge. Amongst them include volunteer lifesavers, student teachers, sport and recreation and paramedic students, retired/semi-retired teachers and stay-at-home parents looking for new opportunities”.

LSV offers an inclusive work environment and encourages applicants from all walks of life and experience.
