Life Saving Victoria is proud to launch an updated version of the Everyday Lifesaver App – an interactive game to help increase the community’s awareness of water safety in a range of aquatic environments, as well as increasing skills in emergency response, including CPR.
The App is available to download via iTunes and Google Play on phones and tablets, there is also a desktop version available for play on a computer. It’s target audience is aged 10+, but any age can enjoy playing the game, especially teachers who may want to increase their water safety and emergency response knowledge.
The App is designed to complement and support existing swimming and water safety programs and can also be used as a community education engagement tool. The App includes a quiz to complete at the end, and players can email themselves a certificate of completion.
We encourage all schools and community groups to promote the App by including a link to the App (see below) on your own website, social accounts and via newsletters. To support this, we have also placed several social media tiles, images and a copy of the poster that can be distributed electronically.
